A lot of people (including myself) complain about the lack of knowledge especially in lower ranks (basically anything below gold).
So many people (including myself) learned that one wave of minions is worth in xp than a hero kill in early game, or having one less hero is enough reason not to engage in a teamfight, etc very late, well after couple of dozens of games in the best case. In the worst case, there are thousands of players out there who are lvl 15 novas and zeratuls who are yet to grasp the basics of the game.
Why that is the case? Because that kind of information is nowhere to be found, except if you have time and energy to go on Blizzard forums or reddit. A lot of people do not, though, as clearly shown by the large scale survey counducted by one of the people here in reddit in the month of may (I couldn't find the thread, thus couldn't link. I will add once I find.)
So, wouldn't it be better to have tips shown at the loading screen? Such as:
" - when engaging in a teamfight, check your teammates' mana along with their health - lvls 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 20 are lvls where teams' powers spike. try avoiding teamfights if you are behind in talents - in late game, it's very easy to clear mercs, so don't take mercs if you think you won't be able to push to take down structrues with them."
etc. (speaking of e.t.c., something like "e.t.c.'s moshpit ult can be interrupted with a stun, polymorph, etc.)
you get the idea. I am sure the level of gameplay would dramatically improve in lower ranks if we had this.
And there are literally hundreds of tips that could be shared with players. I would like to hear the reddit community's opinion on that one.
Thank you,
